TO OUR POTENTIAL VENDORS:
We are happy you are considering our event and encourage you to take a look at the contract we have attached here for the 2013 Season. We require you to fill out our application as we due have some requirements for our vendors. First we want to make sure that you are capable of meeting demand. This event is expected to draw 50,000 visitors over three days this year. We seek vendors that have inventory to manage a crowd should our expectations be reached. We are seeking niche items, Holiday Flare Items or items with a European flare. The range of items for our vendors could be niche foods items like Sausage Gift Sets or Cheese to retail items like Woolen Mittens, Ornaments, Jewelry etc. We have a limited amount of huts and want to make sure each vendor fits a specific niche. We look forward to your communication and the opportunity to work with you. We believe that if you fit the mold for this event it will serve you very well. We ask you to submit the completed application/contract below and submit the applicable fees. We will review it and get back to you in a timely fashion.
We live in a thorough world, and unfortunately there is a lot of legal jargon here in the contract, but we believe if you are as considerate to us as we will be to you, the contract is pretty standard. I doubt there is a vendor from our 2012 season that would have a negative word to say. Another thing we are sure of, is that our rates are extremely competitive. We will be spending a fair amount of marketing dollars to ensure the success of the event and we are paired with the City as a Foundational Sponsor.
